CompuTrace Design Suite

Thermon, a world leader in providing complete heat tracing solutions, has reset the standard in heat tracing design with its new CompuTrace Design Suite. This software package includes several new features and benefits that offer engineers the most comprehensive and robust heat tracing design tool on the market.

An easy-to-use “Quick Start Guide” will guide you through installation of CompuTrace Design Suite, and provide a graphical overview when using this software.

CompuTrace Express

The premiere online design tool for heat tracing systems. With this program, you can create a project, set parameters, and let CompuTrace Express design your optimal heating system using Thermon's products. Generate reports, produce a quote-ready bill of materials, and save your work to a file on your system. If needed, you can import project files from CompuTrace Express into CompuTrace Design Suite for more sophisticated analysis.

CompuTrace ST

Computer Design Program for Steam Tracing on Pipes. CompuTrace-ST V3.0 is based on extensive testing and more than fifty (50) years experience in steam tracing. It provides designs to steam trace piping based on

  • “Thermonized” steam tracing circuits (steam tubing with Thermon heat transfer compounds)
  • SafeTrace Isolated Tracing products for freeze protection or lower pipe temperatures.

CompuTrace-ST V 3.0 can also compare different steam pressures and/or insulation types to yield different pipe temperatures.

CompuTrace IT

CompuTrace – IT is an invaluable tool for projects that require steam or electrical heating for instrument tubing. Thermon’s TubeTrace pre-insulated and heat traced tubing, can now be easily designed, including terminations and accessories for most applications.

CompuTrace-IT designs that require electrical heat tracing utilize Thermon’s SX Self-regulating heat tracing products. The user can create systems with hazardous area approvals with any one of five globally recognized electrical area classification standards.

For steam heating applications CompuTrace-IT can design systems for “light” or “heavy” steam tracing. CompuTrace-IT also considers ThermoTube pre-insulated tubing for steam supply & condensate return lines.

Multiple report formats for performance data and bills of materials are also provided within CompuTrace-IT. All can be exported to Microsoft Excel compatible files for electronic file transfer or customization.
